Altair is a county (amta) of Kastera State, located on the Coscivian Sea coast.
County Altair lies on the furthest outskirts of the Xūrosar metropolitan area, and is primarily rural in character, with several growing exurban communities.
It is well-known as the site of the Thóridan Massacre during the Cromwelute Wars, when victorious Coscivian forces indiscriminately slaughtered the entire population of a Cromwelute town that had existed on the site of what it now the borough of Thóridan.
