The Multilateral Coöperation Council is an intergovernmental organisation that promotes acericulture, economic development, human security, and Nation-building in Crona.

Agriculture

In 2034, upon the accession of Canespa to the MCC, a programme was announced under which the Kiravian occupation authorities in eastern Varshan would assign land grants to the Canasta Company, in exchange for the Company's contribution to the local food supply, employment of local workers, and donation of produce to feed internally displaced persons. This deal was endorsed as furthering the MCC's goals of reviving and modernising agricultural production in Cronan regions affected by the Final War of the Deluge and facilitating the development of a market economy based on free labour principles.

Acericulture

The inaugural report delivered by the MCC Infrastructure and Investment Strategy Committee in 202X identified the cultivation of sugar maple and manufacture of maple syrup as the "single-most promising industry to provide broad-based economic growth, sustainable high-value export commodities, and investor value in North Crona". On the IISC's recommendation, the Multilateral Commission established the Secretariat for Acericultural Promotion (SAP) to facilitate the development of the maple sugar industry in the hemiboreal "syrup belt" lands extending across Xisheng, Mid-Atrassic Crona, and the Copacaban Republic by guaranteeing favourable conditions for capital allocation and leveraging public-private partnerships.
