The Foreign Relations of Brumalea are Brumalea's relations with governments and organizations throughout the world. Since its conception Brumalea has been an outwardly-focused state, dependent on cooperation with the nations in its periphery and beyond. In the country's time as a dominion of the Kingdom of Carna the local government still sought to pursue independent foreign relations with the state's surrounding Brumalea, such as Faneria, Fiannria, Prevalia, and even the various governing communities of Cusinaut, despite the region's historic decentralization. Through the country's history of establishing contact with the communities far from its own borders Brumalea continues to be an active member of the international community. The nation is a member of the League of Nations, the Talerzone, and the Treaty of International Assistance and Development.

Brumal Relation Classification Table

The Ministry of Brumal Relations annually publishes the Brumal Relation Classification Guide, for use by foreign relations analysts, elected officials, and even foreign elements. The guide is meant to inform the world population of the state of various relations between the world's different governing bodies and Brumalea. The system was devised by the administration of former Prime Minister Edward Drummond, and created by the administration's Minister of Brumal Relations, Evelyn Addams. She presented this system to the House of Commons in 2002, speaking of how increased transparency between the international community and Brumalea would serve to benefit those looking to foster relations with Brumalea and improve ties across national borders. The system was narrowly adopted in both chambers of parliament and received royal ascent on February 2nd, 2002. The system is still used and is accepted to be useful and effective, though some MPs have debated the usefulness of the negative qualifiers in fostering international relations, especially as they are infrequently assigned.
