Aside from his date of birth and relations, Antaine's early life was essentially indistinguishable from any other child of inheritance and went largely unrecorded because of his distant relation to the main royal line and utter lack of noteworthy events beyond partying and vacationing abroad.
... despite being 83rd in line for the crown, every single candidate before him had already died, been imprisoned, forfeited their claim, gone missing, or was not deemed malleable enough by the Council for the Preservation of the Throne.
... after the collapse of the Royalist coalition, his lifestyle changed little beyond the forfeiture of his properties in Faneria, forcing him to downsize to a smaller estate. The remaining property abroad of the Rih's person made him comfortably wealthy, even after large parts of it were seized by local governments or in the name of the Popular Republic.
I'm thinking nobody even bothered assassinating him, he just toddled off into the corner maybe he got his head smashed during a drunken brawl with some expats 20 years later
