The Castrillón Estate, also known as the Castrillón Dynasty, is a Caphirian Estate of Carto-Pelaxian origin. Founded by Taurelin Castrillón in 1454 during the Third Imperium, the Castrillóns first rose to prominence through their monopoly of the mineral trade in the Kindreds Sea. The Castrillóns first rose to political power until 1525, when Sebastián Pasillas was appointed Consul of Cognatia - the southwest region of the empire that includes the provinces of Cartadania and Pelaxia. From the 16th to 19th century, the Castrillóns were one of the most prominent dynasties in the Imperium.
Members of the Castrillón Estate include: Anricinés Castrillón, Mauhtémoc the Great, and Cesardo. In addition, the family membership includes numerous military leaders, and other significant political figures in both Cartadania and Pelaxia. While its influence has diminished, today the Castrillón Estate is still heavily connected within Carto-Pelaxian nobility.
