Kikpari
Kikpari are a sub-sentient primate species native to the Kikpar Wastelands of central Sarpedon. They are known to be a distant relative of Sigma males. A small number of the species live in Kikpar, a climate controlled geodesic dome at the International Nature Preserve.

Intelligence and Communication
Like many lower primate species, Kikpari demonstrate a considerable degree of cognitive ability. They are able to use simple tools and understand rudimentary, concrete instructions with the aid of hand signals. Unlike other semi-intelligent primates, however, they display behavior that could be considered to be anti-social. They seem to have a general disregard for those around them.
Political and Legal Status
Due to forces still poorly understood, during the early 2010s, the Kikpari managed to establish what appeared to be something of a proto-state in the wilderness of southwestern Sarpedon. The most popular (but as of yet unproven) theories attribute this development to a small band of genetically-enhanced Kikpari or Kikpari-human hybrids created as a failed Quicksilver Industries biomedical experiment and then released into the wild. In any case, during the early 2020s, the Kikpari state began displaying irrational and aggressive behaviour towards its neighbours, threatening the security of Sarpedon and the international order. The state was eventually eradicated by League of Nations forces in 2025, and the Kikpari have been returned to their natural, wild state.
