The New Century (Burg: Le Nouvelle Siecle) was a Burgoignesc newspaper that was published from 1898 to 1971, when it was bought by Levantine Times Union. Its supplement Le Petit Siècle ("The Little Century") is known as the first publication to feature The Adventures of JJ, a very popular children's graphic novel about a boy reporter.

The conservative Catholic newspaper was founded by Georges Helleputte, Joseph d'Ursel, and Athanase de Broqueville (brother of Burgoignesc Prime Minister Charles de Broqueville). Its first issue was published on 6 June 1898. It sold poorly and was kept alive by Charles de Broqueville and other Burgoignesc and Yonderian aristocrats.

In 1914, Fernand Neuray took over as editor-in-chief. He distanced the newspaper from the Catholic alignment and tried to position it as a national newspaper. This alienated the aristocrats and the paper suffered. During the Second Great War, it became the unofficial newspaper of the Volonderres and it's circulation increased, especially in Yonderre. It was during this time that the magazine switched from the Burgoignesc standard to the Yonderian vernacular.
