Jack Conmoore
Duke Jack Bellick Conmoore was a minor noble and notable industrialist in Faneria in the late 19th century. He was primarily involved in stocks, railroads, and mining charters, and was a highly controversial figure for his embracing the concept of company towns, as well as his aggressive and later illegal stock market manipulation and presumably eating his competitors considering how stupidly fat he was. In addition, he was caught paying mercenaries to harass and attack his business rivals prior to a royal sanction in 1882. His actions and general demeanor lead to his becoming a symbol of corrupt business elite, and Conmoore was lampooned in early Republican and Socialist writings as a prime example of the issues of the monarchy in the late 1800s.
