The Sochrach-class submarine (Aen. Gainful[1]) is a type of nuclear-powered ballistic and cruise missile submarine built for the Army Naval Service of Faneria. The largest and newest class of strategic submarines currently in service with the Fhainnin navy, the Gainfuls form the front line of Faneria's nuclear retaliation capability. Since their introduction, the older Gallant class are believed to largely have been reduced to a primarily cruise missile role due to the advances in stealth capabilities and warhead capacity brought by the new vessels.
