The Cileo 220 is a Caphirian modular assault rifle made by Shockwave Industrial exclusively for military and law enforcement use. The Cileo 220 is chambered for the 7.62x51mm cartridge and fires from 20- or 30-round detachable box magazines.

The Cileo 220 operates through a short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, featuring normal, adverse and suppressed firing, and has a cyclic rate of fire of around 600–650 rounds per minute. It has fully ambidextrous controls, including a bolt catch lever, magazine release button and fire selector. It is equipped with a quick-change, free-floating, cold hammer-forged barrel which can be removed and replaced in a minute using one wrench. The relative lightness of the weapon (3.75 kg (8.3 lb)) allows it to bridge the gap between battle rifle and assault rifle but makes controlled fire more difficult when firing fully automatic.

Apart from the five base models (Mk.1-Mk.5) there are two distinct sub-variants: the Cileo 220BR which features a 40mm grenade launcher attachment, a foldable telescopic stock with adjustable cheek rest, shock absorber back plate and four fixed sling attachments; and the Cileo 220DR, which features a computerized Intelligent Combat Sight (ICS) which integrates a laser rangefinder, an inclinometer and a ballistic calculator into a compact 6×40 optic.

Variants
