The Social Democracy Party currently holds veto-proof supermajorities in both houses of the Milan General Assembly. The House consists of 127 SDPs and 22 UCPs, with one vacancy, while the Senate is composed of 39 SDPs and 11 UCPS. Similar to Verona, both the Chamber and Senate have continuously been in SDP hands since the 1911 election.
