'''Nova Istroya''' is a term referring to the [[Urcea|Urcean]] province of [[Sanctissimo Sacramento]] and much of southeastern [[Gassavelia]], although some broader definitions of the term also include parts of [[Burgundie]]. Nova Istroya describes much of the southeastern coast of [[Levantia]] and southern coast of [[Urcea]] that was the site of settlement by [[Istroya|Istroyan]] peoples during Antiquity. The region, which is largely separated from the rest of Urcea by a southern portion of the [[Hortus Mountains]], runs along the coast of the [[Sea of Istroya]] facing [[Audonia]]. As the most geographically accessible portion of [[Levantia]] to the east, the area has long been a prominent location of cultural exchange and mixing, though the Istroyan legacy still remains the most prominent.
