}} | }}The National Party is the largest opposition party to the Central Republic Party of Faneria, and generally adopts a range of stances from market and social liberalism to the lighter flavors of democratic socialist (the latter having been attracted largely to the Social Party in recent years). Their politics tend to favor reforms along Levantine Union lines, and the party formally supports integration into the LU as well as more normalized relations with the international status quo and a focus on trade and reduced state involvement in the economy, as well as a greater focus on rehabilitative rather than punitive justice. They often compromise and overlap on some policy positions with the Futurist faction of the Republicans, although the Nationals have serious issues with the Futurists' lack of interest in cultural progressivism. | ||
