The '''Sochrach-class submarine''' (Aen. ''Gainful''<ref>Sochrach broadly means 'Gainful/Productive/Beneficial/Helpful' in respect to labor.</ref>) is a type of nuclear-powered ballistic and cruise missile submarine built for the [[Office of the National Army (Faneria)|Army Naval Service]] of [[Faneria]]. The largest and newest class of strategic submarines currently in service with the Fhainnin navy, the Gainfuls form the front line of Faneria's [[Nuclear Programs and Policy of Faneria|nuclear retaliation capability]]. Since their introduction, the older [[Gaisgeil-class submarine|Gallant class]] are believed to largely have been reduced to a primarily cruise missile role due to the advances in stealth capabilities and warhead capacity brought by the new vessels.
