Korell is a planned city and administrative center of the Agario micro district within Central province. The city is named after Khalkin Kodell, a naturalized Daxian scientist who is credited with the creation of Agario's bioconcrete. Originally conceived as a Closed city to conduct scientific research in secrecy, the city was stripped of that status in 2010 as part of an administrative reorganization. Leaked sources claim that the city was de-listed as a closed settlement as punishment of Agario for 'unauthorized attempts to create artificial life'. As befits the 'Science City', several scientific secret projects allegedly took place in Korell; Ming Pak's sadly infamous Daxian Institute of Protein had an office space and warehouses in the city, possible locations for the manufacture of biological agents. In 2035 Korell had a population of 453,698 people in its metropolitan area and a transient population of 26,463 who commute for work from the rest of the micro district. The city has a small number of non-Daxian residents, mostly foreign researchers and their families who have been victims of Kidnapping across international borders; Daxia denies any involvement in illegal retention of foreign nationals.
Korell is the center of Daxia's bioconcrete production and given that the material is fabricated with organic refuse, the city has been given the nickname of 'Gunk City' due to the strong odors emanating from the huge piles of organic material dotting the city's industrial district. The national firm Mega Cola also operates a bottling plant in the city which supplies most of Central province with the fizzy copycat of Imperial Cola.
Notably Korell hosts a number of top educational institutions such as the Korell High Mathematics Institute which has produced twenty six national champions of mathematics, the Central Lyceum for Applied Bioscience which produces many top researchers, including two that have been involved in the Daxian megafauna breeding programs. Korell dubiously claims to have the highest number of scientists per capita in Audonia.

Heng is a city in Daxia and capital of the eponymous Heng Province. It historically was a city that rallied northern elites around it and routinely pushed back against imperial authority and later became the leading power center of the United Cities for three hundred years. Its position near the Gorro mountain pass allowed it control of the lucrative trade routes in the region and in later years it also grew to be one of the great centers of the overland slave trade in Audonia until its abolition at the end of the Qing dynasty. Since the height of its power during the United Cities era the city was nicknamed as the 'Ruler of the North'. Established in xxx BCE by Emperor xxx of the Xie dynasty as a garrison town

Daguo is the capital city of the province of Yang and a historic summer capital of Daxia during the imperial period. The city was founded in 1112 by the southern Wuxia noble clan on the banks of the Qingxie river. Its position made it a riverine trade station on the southern marshes and the city developed into an economic center of some importance. Emperor Mong of the Zhong dynasty put down a local rebellion and executed the entire Wuxia clan as punishment, the city was from then on part of the royal appanages. Mong's successor, Ting-Ol designated the city as a summer capital and began construction of the Palace of Columns.
