Cronanization is a term referring to the lasting impacts of the Deluge on Urcea. Understood in its conventional sense, Cronanization includes a wide variety of effects of Urcea's involvement in Crona, not only how external factors have affected Urcea (such as trade, moving demographics, and new cultural artifacts), but also how Urcea's involvement has changed Urcean concepts and perceptions. This latter effect includes a broad array of areas especially within the political and military fields, while the former is especially relevant to how Urcea's close ties to Nysdra Sea Treaty Association members have changed everyday Urcean life.
Many observers have commented that Cronanization has fully consumed Urcean life, replacing many social attitudes, political outlooks, and institutional structures that had developed and persisted in the context of the Second Great War and Occidental Cold War.
