Dectroia, officially The Dectroian Confederacy (Dectroian: Dēctroini Confēderesh) is a nation in Western Audonia.

The country was formed from the confederacy of fifteen tribes inhabiting the Dectroia Peninsula united, in approximately 655 AD. This was in part to counter the Oduniyyad Caliphate, which had not conquered them. They established a small empire, which encompassed most of the Dectroian Peninsula by 700. This triggered the Golden Age of Dectroia, during which the country made many advancements in the fields of literature, art and technology. The Golden Age of Dectroia slowly declined as the Islamic Golden Age arose, eventually coming to an end completely when it was conquered by the Caliphate in 856 AD.

In 1144, it became independent following the Declaration of the Fifty Stars, establishing a Federal Shorste (Kingdom). During this period, it was highly pious, making nearly all of its political decisions based of Audonian Christianity. The ordinary populace was also very religious in their daily lives. After the crusades, in which is supported the Occidentals, it became mostly isolationist in many ways, not being frequently concerned with the events of the outside world.

The period known as the "Rebuilding" (Ellesean: Tuvsheter) began in the early 18th century. In this period, the country began opening itself up to the world, under the lead of Shors Tremen Alerman. It began to industrialize, becoming rich and more democratic and free. It became known for its sophisticated ships, the best in the world at the time, which enabled the country to trade with the Occident and gain exposure to its liberal ideas and artistic advancements. It soon (having about twice as much territory as it has today) became a world leader in the arts, and a semi-democracy with the Constitution of 1765 being signed into law.

However, by the early 19th century, the country's spirit of openminded, optimistic progressivism was more quiet. It was relatively slow to industrialize, being about half so (compared to Burgundie) by the time of the Great War. During this war, the country was officially neutral while in numerous of its actions supporting the side of Burgundie.

During the Second Great War, the country was neutral. However, the country was undergoing turmoil of its own during this period, which culminated in the Revolution of 1939 against the Shors's increasingly repressive and incompetent actions and policies. He was replaced with a democratic, confederal system.

Dectroia is a member of the League of Nations.
