The Grand Duchy of Carolina was a Grand Duchy in Levantia and was part of the Holy Levantine Empire. It was the homeland of the Garán people.

Founded as the constituent crown territory of the Southern Kingdom of the Levantines, known as Carolingia or Carolina, the Duchies of Upper and Lower Carolina were established in the 900s and were divided until the end of the Great Confessional War. The Protestant-held Duchy of Upper Carolina was left vacant following the war and its subsequent Dragonnades. The Dukes of Lower Carolina, of the House Mar Morgan, were given the vacant Duchy and they were fused together as the Grand Duchy of Carolina in 1575 by Emperor Leo III. With the extinction of House Mar Morgan in 1743, the Apostolic King of Urcea was to be the heir but the Emperor of the Levantines disputed their claim, causing the War of the Caroline Succession during which the Urcean inheritance was confirmed. Following Urcea's loss in the Second Caroline War, the Grand Duchy was restored in 1805 but was annexed into Urcea in 1843 during the Third Caroline War. The Grand Duchy remained a crownland of Urcea until its reorganization in 1892.

The former territory of the Grand Duchy of Carolina today consists of the Urcean provinces of Upper Carolina and Lower Carolina.
