Josip Broz Travolta (born January 1, 1969) is an prominent Slakoscivian poet & writer under the pen name Guy Tražl and was a prominent figure in socialist realism major exponent of romantic modernism in Slakonian and later in Kiravia and the rest of the world. He was awarded the International Prize for Literature multiple times.

Early life

Josip Travolta was born in the town of Ulaanbatur of Vale in Kiravian-occupied Slakonian, the town was originally built upon the small village of Ulan but Afro-Coscivian colonists decided to slightly rename the town from a the Punthite city of the same name as the town to this day hosts to the local museum stolen artifacts.

Josip's family was of mixed background of Slakonian natives and Afro-Coscivians colonists, his father was local historian teacher and former air force officer who was discharged after wounded-in-action. Josip described his father as "always seemed like a very polite, very foreign, lonely, little-understood guest." His father's tales from his service in the air force and Punth influenced many of his works with the biggest collection of poetry Sonnet of the Airman would become most known and detailed day-to-day lives of airmen during the Second Great War.

Josip's family didn't actively participated into the Slakonian War for Independence as Slakoscivians were the most loyal group to their colonial government up until the lands were handed over to the communist revolutionaries in exchange of avoiding war in the future and prolonging problems for other occupation authorities.

From childhood, Josip appeared headstrong and hard for his family to handle. In a letter to her husband, Josip's mother Maria wrote: "The little fellow has a life in him, an unbelievable strength, a powerful will, and, for his four years of age, a truly astonishing mind. How can he express all that? It truly gnaws at my life, this internal fighting against his tyrannical temperament, his passionate turbulence [...] God must shape this proud spirit, then it will become something noble and magnificent – but I shudder to think what this young and passionate person might become should his upbringing be false or weak"

Josip had showed signs of serious depression as early as his first year at school. In his juvenilia collection Green Years, Josip vividly describes experiences and anecdotes from his childhood and youth in Ulaanbatur: the atmosphere and adventures by the river, the bridge, the chapel, the houses leaning closely together, hidden nooks and crannies, as well as the inhabitants with their admirable qualities, their oddities, and their idiosyncrasies. The fictional town of Smalldick is pseudonymous for his town, Ulaanbatur had a centuries-old horse-breeding and metalworks industry, and during Josip's childhood the smith's influence on the town was still very much in evidence.
