The Peace Front (Gruuzhenan Zelababa, referred to internationally as the Black Hand) is a militant Arzalist terrorist organization active in Varshan since the mid-2030s.
The Peace Front was initially a fringe organization within the broader neo-Arzalist, anti-Occidentalist spectrum of terrorist organizations in Varshan, being outnumbered by more traditionalist Zurgite organizations. However, as more prominent organizations were captured and disbanded by occupation forces, and the prospect of a quick restoration of Varshan (and weakness of the Occident) faded, more extreme and deeper underground organizations like the Peace Front gained prominence and adherence. As of the end of the 2030s, it is the largest known Varshani terrorist organization.

History
On 1 July 2038 Black Hand militants carried out a suicide attack against an access gate at Jeb!ultepec Airport (home to the headquarters of the Kiravian military in Varshan), using an aviation fuel truck with a modified cab to ram the gate facilities and rigged explosives to ensure the detonation of the truck's payload. The attack resulted in the deaths of nineteen Kiravian personnel and a Varshani civilian bystander, as well as the three perpetrators. The organisation promptly announced its responsibility for the attack in a video message sent to the CWI wire service.
Ideology
The Peace Front is commonly referred to as Orthodox Arzalist, though many observers have noted that the Peace Front adheres to an ideology considered by most experts to be a more extreme form of that practiced by Zurgite Varshan, one tinged with nationalist concepts similar to Audonian nationalism. Namely, the Peace Front denounces the presence of all foreign slaves within Varshan and further denounce the historic practice of the Hunt, viewing the importation of slaves as a betrayal of Varshan and the Death God in the name of economic benefit. The Peace Front further believes that the Varshani caste system was essentially a compromise. Instead, the Peace Front believes that Varshan must be racially purified, eliminating all former slaves and their descendants through means of organized genocide.
The Peace Front's name is derived from their ideology of eternal national peace, namely, the state of national stability and ascendancy that Varshan can achieve once racially purified. Due to both the misleading nature of its name as well as its genocidal implications, Occidental media and intelligence usually refer to the organization as the "Black Hand" owing to its symbol, which represents the Death God in Arzalism.
