A large, multilingual country with a vibrant civil society and fairly robust freedom of the press, Kiravia hosts a thriving ecosystem of news outlets reaching local, regional, nationwide, and international audiences. Many news outlets in operation today are or evolved from print media organisations established in the 19th and 20th centuries AD, while a growing number of others are native to television, radio, or the Internet.

BizNewz Hourly

BizNewz Hourly is a Pribraltar-based radio show and weblog dedicated to breaking business news, such as financial market movements, regulatory decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and monetary policy. It is especially valued for its coverage of markets for niche commodities and their derivatives, and is known for its combination of timely, fact based reporting with an enthusiastic and "smart casual" presentation style.

Coscivian Wire Service International

Coscivian Wire Service International is a news agency headquartered in Saar-Silverda. Founded early on during the liberalisation period, its original business model was collecting news reports from abroad in Kiravic for sale to domestic publications (mostly those serving regional and local audiences). It now produces reports in multiple languages for both domestic and international consumers, and engages in multiplatform digital publishing of much of its own reporting. Its main competitor is Agśensuv Kirav-Press, which has larger networks in Caphiria and Urcea.

Cronan & World Reporter

The Cronan & World Reporter is an Ænglish-language online news outlet based in Sirana, Æonara and owned by the New Objectivity Foundation, an non-profit organisation registered in Pribraltar. Its editorial stance has been described by the mainstream press as staunchly anti-communist and hard right, with a sensational and often alarmist tone. The Reporter mainly covers politics, and is best known as an early breaker of stories damaging to centre-left to left-wing politicians in various countries. It has been accused of trafficking in conspiracy theories and fake news.

Epic Times

The Epic Times is an international multilingual newspaper and media company affiliated with the Order of the Masque of the Firmament, an esoteric Sarostivist religious order with close ties to the Federalist Lodges and to the defunct Renaissance Party. Founded Cities of Kiravia#Neskavra, the Epic Times published stories critical of the Kiravian Union during the Sunderance, raising awareness of that régime's persecution of organised religion, destruction of cultural heritage, and violations of ethical standards in scientific research.

Ğábravik

See Ğábravik

Ğábravik (Ænglish: Lamppost) is a broadsheet daily newspaper published from Madisar, Fariva but traditionally associated with the larger nearby city of Bérasar. It is distinguished by its unapologetically left-liberal and progressive political alignment, and its tradition of critical reporting on Kiravian political and social conditions. Although its daily circulation figures are comparatively small, Ğábravik punches above its weight in terms of influence by marketing to an elite readership. It has a robust digital presence, including well-regarded online editions in Latin and Ænglish. Due to its accessibility and editorial independence, Ğábravik is valued as a source on Kiravian current events by foreign journalists and researchers.

Iomradh

Iomhradh ("Report") is the largest Gaelic-language newspaper in the Kiravian Federacy. Published out of Kérvoak, Ilánova, it has widespread circulation in Kiravia's Gaelic-speaking states and among Gaelic minority communities throughout the nation. It has a growing online presence. The language and style conventions employed by Iomhradh are considered the de facto standard for contemporary written Kiravian Gaelic, and the paper serves an important role in the cultivation of the language by ensuring that its lexicon expands and adapts to describe current events and emerging subjects.

Kartika Free Beacon

(Kiravic: Helvirēvir Kartiká)

KBS

KBS is the state broadcaster of Kaviska State. It airs morning and evening news segments with broad-strokes coverage of national and world news, Kaviska regional news and state politics, weather, and sports.

KBS also airs the popular current events talk show Firing Squad.

Kiravia Today

See KT (news outlet)

Kiravia Today was a propaganda mouthpiece aimed at foreign audiences. Its content consisted of both Kiravian domestic news (presented to highlight the country's successes and depict its government and society in a positive light) and international affairs (presented in line with the Kiravian government's official positions on issues and/or slanted to cast unfriendly countries or entities in a negative light). In operation from 1992 to 2031 AD, Kiravia Today was closed down by the Ilkashvar administration, citing cost overruns and a need to restructure the Federacy's public diplomacy efforts.

Kirav Post

The Kirav Post is, along with the Valēka Telegraph (see above) a contender for the title of Kiravia's newspaper of record. Currently based in Sirana, the Kirav Post was organised in Kélunsar, North Æonara in 1936 by the Kiravian Remnant's public affairs bureau, though operated at arm's length as a private company. It was the largest newspaper in the Kiravian Remnant by circulation.

South Crona Morning Post

The South Crona Morning Post (Kiravic: Deskakronax Dormavik) is a Sar-i-Pául-based multi-platform news organisation. Its flagship product is the eponymous South Crona Morning Post, a broadsheet newspaper and online news outlet with Coscivian†, Terra Ænglish, and local Caphiric Latin and Qabóri editions. SCMP also produces a daily morning television news segment under the same name, which is broadcast by QBC in Tierrador and by the KDL Networks Group in the Æonaran states. An 70-minute audio programme, South Crona Morning News Hour (Deskakronax Dormadhanstēmarr), airs on numerous radio stations in Kiravia and elsewhere.

The SCMP originated as a business-oriented paper during the Kiravian Sunderance with a strong focus on economic and political news from the South Crona region. Until 2006, the paper received a public subsidy to support its foreign-language editions in order to encourage foreign direct investment in Kiravia. The contemporary paper has broadened its coverage from regional to global in scope while reporting mainly hard news and analysis relevant to business, but is still most valued by its subscribers for its South Crona coverage.

The SCMP has international bureaux in Alstin, Cape Town, Cheyenne, Farpoint, Ilosar, Kurst, Minxia City, Pretorē, Puerta Oeste, Purépec, Qabór, and Taisgol, as well as overseas domestic bureaux in Érskinsar, Hāverma (Pribraltar), Kartika, Saar-Silverda, and Valēka.

† The online Coscivian edition is composed in Æonaran Coscivian with in-house machine-assisted translation into Cape Coscivian and Kiravic Coscivian

Valēka Telegraph

The Valēka Telegraph is, along with the Kirav Post (see above) a contender for the title of Kiravia's newspaper of record. Its core market covers the nation's largest city and metropolitan area, though it has nationwide distribution.
