Seisyll ap Morgan ap Ieuan (born 5 April 1958 as Seisyll Gruffydd) is the incumbent Arlywydd of the Land of Caergwynn. Born to a modest family in the small mountain town of Llandewi, Seisyll's academic pursuit in political science at Prifysgol Morlais was made possible through a scholarship granted by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Upon graduating cum laude in 1979, Seisyll dedicated his early career to the Department, diligently advancing through the ranks over several decades. His significant contributions include drafting Caergwynn's statement of membership in the Kilikas-Boreal Cooperative Zone, highlighting his service. In 2016, Seisyll's hard work and dedication culminated in his appointment as Chancellor of the Department. His tenure was marked by his advocacy for the rights of the para-Caeric Gvergole community in neighboring Vithinja, earning him widespread popularity.
In March 2023, following the sudden stroke and subsequent death of his predecessor, Seisyll was nominated by the Arcyngor to assume the office of Arlywydd. His nomination was confirmed by a substantial majority of the Iscyngor. While initially viewed as a "safe pair of hands," Seisyll's tenure as Arlywydd has been characterized by unexpected vigor. His efforts have been primarily directed towards fostering stronger ties with Fiannria, expanding the power of the elected Iscyngor, and implementing extensive reforms in various government departments.
Away from the rigors of political office, Seisyll leads a quiet personal life. He has been married to Catrin Carews since 1981, though they have no children. In his spare time, Seisyll enjoys fishing, painting watercolors, and singing in the choir of his local Associated Church. Both he and his wife are faithful attendees of their church's Sunday services.
