The '''AmP 38''', fully known as the '''Autometralladore Patron 1938''', was a Burgoignesc armored car used in the Great War of Urcean manufacture. Following several years of fighting in Audonia, it became fully evident that tracked tanks such as the SAV-5 and SAV-6 were inappropriate for service and that lighter, wheel-based vehicles were necessary. The Aullen Field Works company was contracted by Burgundie with consent from the Government of Urcea to design an appropriate vehicle. Based on the lessons and design features of the SAV-6, such as the effectiveness of sloped armor, the AmP 38 was designed with high speed and off-road reliability in mind. Following satisfactory testing, the AmP 38 entered production and was shipped for use in Audonia, where it would serve for the remainder of the war.
