Lansing Iron Horse shift its production lines to armored trains, hospital cars, rail guns, troop trains, and a variety of other militarized uses for their manufactories. During these years there was a frenzy of innovation and ingenuity applied to the fundamentals of rail manufacturing that the company was able to capitalize on. In the post-war period saw Lansing Iron Horse actively participating in the reconstruction efforts, contributing to the rebuilding of rail connections and the revitalization of trade routes. In 1967, [[Armand-Ere Inc.#Armand-Ere_Locomotion|Armand-Ere Locomotion]] and Lansing Iron Horse formed a joint venture partnership as part of the economic reforms of the [[Levantine Union]].
