An additional $161 billion is allocated for 'miscellaneous expenditures'. By function, $884.2 billion was requested for personnel, $1.2 trillion for operations and maintenance, $1.1 trillion for procurement, $602.9 billion for research and development, $136.6 billion for military construction, and $60.2 billion for family housing.
