The House of Union was formed in 1981 upon the Canasta Companies abolishment of the Wasi Kings government. The original House of Union had 150 members and was much different then it is today. The original 150 delegates were randomly picked from the population but it did not take long for Canespa to realize that this was a bad idea. Soon reforms were made and the body began to be voted on. Eventually through multiple proposals and plans the senator number was increased to 200. But finally with the addition of the provincial divisions of Canespa in 1997 did the number of 286 come about. | The House of Union was formed in 1981 upon the Canasta Companies abolishment of the Wasi Kings government.
