The Tervarinus Estate (Latin: Casa Tervarinium), sometimes referred to as the Tervarinus Family, is an Imperial Estate of Caphiria that was established in 1827. Originally coming from humble origins in the province of Caseni, patriarch Erassinico Iseli acquired power and influence through nepotism and ambitious long-term plans. The family was elevated to the aristocracy in the early 19th century by a proclamation from Imperator Arieri II and then to imperial ranks by Juvano Ubalvano Baldolianti who became Imperator Magasevetus.
Members of House Tervarinus include four Imperators: Magasevetus, Magasevetus II, Nerco IX, and Olavioni II. In addition, the family membership includes 34 Magistrates, numerous military leaders, and other significant political and religious figures.
The House of Tervarinus was extremely influential in shaping 20th century Caphirian politics and defined what would become the current historical epoch of Caphiria, the "Mandatum era". Towards the end of the century, the family possessed one of the largest private fortunes in Caphiria and wielded unprecedented power and influence. Today their interests cover a diverse range of fields, including financial services, real estate, mining, energy, mixed farming, winemaking and nonprofits.
