The Order of the Kestrel (Burgoignesc: Ordre de Crecerelle, Gothic: Falkenorden), known informally in Yonderre as simply the Kestrel Cross (Burgoignesc: Croix Crecerellesc, Gothic: Falkenkreuz), is a Yonderian order presented by the Grand Duke of Yonderre rewarding meritious contributions to the arts, sciences and politics. It was founded by Auguste I de Houicourt on August 1, 1622 as a chiefly military order and then reformed in 1766 by Guillaume IV de Donne into something more closely resembling the modern order. Description
