The Latinic people, colloquially known as Latins, are a ethnolinguistic group. Latins share a common culture, history, ancestry and language, and Latinic peoples and descendent cultures live in a wide geographic area ranging from Vallos to northern Levantia. Latinic people originated in Urlazio and formed the Adonerii civilization, subsequently embarking on the Latin Heroic Age which brought Latin settlers to Sarpedon and Levantia.
Latinic identity forms an important part of identity and culture for many people in the Occident, and is especially central to Caphirian identity and nationality. Latinic identity, in many contexts, is a controversial concept, particularly as it relates to modern identity and nationality. Within some contexts, a Latin identity is a kind of claim to prestige and geopolitical power to the exclusion of other countries and peoples.
