The Ardridom Respoblachtánach de na Sine Gàidhlig (Greater Republican Dominion of the Gaelic Peoples), or the ARSG, was a nationalist, imperialist concept created in Faneria in the 1920s and partially implemented from 1935-1947. The idea was developed as part of the strategic planning for the invasion of Fiannria as a goalpost for clearly defining war aims and the intended postwar order on the continent. While originally based in a desire for greater Gaelic unification, it quickly became an excuse for military expansionism. It was first announced publicly in 1935 after the invasion began.
The ARSG was intended to create an independent supranational union of Gaelic nations across Northern Levantia based on theories of Gaelic nationalism. In theory, three primary nations (Faneria, Fiannria, and Caergwynn) would form the three voting members of the bloc, with a series of non-voting bantustans or independent minority republics observing ARSG laws as client states. These states would have unitary internal governments but be subject to the overarching ARSG federal government. In practice, Caergwynn and Fiannria would need to be integrated into Faneria for a time under tutelary governments before becoming equal members. This lead to the formation of the Revolutionary Republics of the Northern and Eastern Gaels, acting as occupation governments in Caergwynn and non-Vandarch Fiannria, respectively.
The ARSG functionally ceased to exist after 1942 and was formally ended as a state policy in 1947 after the conclusion of the Culriochan Continuation War.
