Avamax is a geographical region located in East Sarpedon. It is a landlocked region, featuring land borders with Slaconia and Greater Salesia to the south; North Solis to the east; Manuncia and Xelphia to the north; and Xalesia to the west. Avamax has a small population, concentrated on the region's share of Lake Pelleus in the east.
Avamax was historically subject under the influence of the two major Sarpedonian powers; Caphiria and Istroya. The Sarpic migration involved various waves of Sarpic people emigrating from Volonia, Ugarit, and Calto. Avamax was almost entirely conquered by the Istroyan Empire during the Crusades, after a fierce battle to push the Oduniyyad Caliphate out of East Sarpedon. After the Istroyan civilizations fell later in the millennium, Avamax became subject to influence from the Third Imperium of Caphiria, which remained as the sole Sarpedonian power.

Half of Lake Pelleus also falls within Avamax's borders, with the surrounding basin making up a good portion of the region's farmland.
