Dhavastu is a geographical region in southern Audonia. It shares land borders with Pukhgundi and Tapakdore to the north; Argyrea to the west; The Holding to the east, along with a long coastline on the Pukhtun Sea.

The early presence of the Arunid Empire in the 3rd century BC resulted in the subjugation of Dhavastu within the former. Dhavastu had immediately been established by the Arunids as a Muslim region, to be later conquered by the much larger Oduniyyad Caliphate in the 12th century AD. This is arguably where Islamic influence in the region reached its peak, as the religion had become the de facto throughout Dhavastu. In the 16th century, the Caliphate would be broken down by the Warring Century, ending Oduniyyad rule in Dhavastu. Today, Dhavastu exists as a more religiously diverse region, with historical ties to Burgundie.

Geography

Dhavastu is located in south central Audonia, on the eastern tip of the Daria region. It is a mostly flat region, consisting of 65% subtropical plains and the remainder in temperate forests. The region's western border with Argyrea is drawn alongside the Dhavastu River, along with Lake ____ in the middle of the river. The Kenemas River flows down the middle of Dhavastu, where the majority of the region's population and flatlands are located.

Dhavastu's climate is separated into three zones; Subtropical humid in the south, subtropical dry summer in the center, and tropical wet-and-dry in the northern portions. Summer temperatures can get relatively high, and the season runs from December to February, while the winter temperatures are cooler, with the season running from June to August. Autumn and spring seasons are relatively similar, with more moderate but warm temperatures. Dhavastu receives an average of 1200 millimeters of precipitation annually.
