List of Government Agencies Defunct after Kirosocialism

During the transition away from Kirosocialism, the National Renewal government embarked on a large-scale programme of administrative reform with the aim of curbing government expenditure and downsizing the bloated federal bureaucracy. As part of this process, a large number of government agencies were eliminated, merged, defunded, privatised, or quango'd. Some had their functions diffused among other agencies, devolved to the federal subjects, or resumed by civil society.

Department of Sport	Ministry of Culture	Abolished	The Unified National Sporting System was abolished by the Reform Act of Template:H:title, and government control of the major spectator sport leagues (e.g. fieldball, sampakuv, hockey) was disclaimed by executive order in Template:H:title. Federal sponsorship of certain sporting bodies (such as the Kiravian Cross-Country Skiing Association) continued as late as Template:H:title via the Kiravian Ixlympic Committee until that organisation became an NGO.
Republic Security Directorate	Ministry of Security	Abolished	Some responsibilities assumed by the Federal Security Bureau.
Price Management Office	Economic & Social Council	Abolished	Obsolete with the lifting of most price controls for consumer products, the Price Management Office was shut down under the Kólsylvar administration.
National Warehouse & Granary Administration	Economic & Social Council	Abolished	Obsolete with the abandonment of the command economy and National Redistribution Plans. Most national warehouses were sold off to private buyers, most prominently the Burgundian North Levantine Trading Company, while a few were repurposed and assigned to other agencies for specific uses, such as strategic resource stockpiling, military logistics, and emergency shelter.
Pillow Quality Control Bureau	Ministry of Standards	Abolished	Jobs with the Pillow Quality Control Bureau were the cushiest sinecures available in the Kiravian Union's overstuffed public sector. The Bureau was finally put to bed by executive order in 21174.
Paranormal Affairs Office	Ministry of Science	Abolished	Frequently held up by the Renewal Movement as an example of bureaucratic excess, the Paranormal Affairs Office was abolished by Prime Executive Kólsylvar during his first month in office.
Bureau of Flags and Insignia	Ministry of Information	Broken up	Some responsibilities transferred to the Military Vexillogical-Heraldic Authority, Naval Flag Office, and Commission on Naval Uniforms. Others spun out to various quangos or released from the government's purview.
Collective Farms Administration	Ministry of Agriculture	Abolished Devolved	Tasked primarily at land reform and the collectivisation of large estates in South Kirav and Sydona, the Collective Farms Administration was abolished early on under the Kólsylvar administration. An Agrarian Transitional Commission was set up to oversee the privatisation of collective farms, either by return to their pre-confiscation owners or by subdivision and grant to smallholders. Many states now have Boards of Rural Coöperatives to assist and regulate private coöperative farming operations.

Religious Affairs Office	Ministry of Culture	Quango'd	Drastically downsized and repurposed under PEs Kólsylvar and Rénkédar. Reorganised as the quasi-governmental Council on Kiravian Religious Life, which mainly functions as a conduit for Church-State relations.
Strategic Sociology Office	Ministry of the Exterior	Defunded	Still notionally exists, but with no funding, personnel, or operations. Archives held by the State Intelligence Agency.
