Dynamite gun crusiers, (Burg: Corsaires Combatantes, Canon Pneumatique (CCCP)) were a short lived, purpose built platform for the dynamite gun. They were touted to be the next great big thing in naval innovation but severely failed as a ship-to-ship combatant. Designed during the Red Interregnum they were much lighter and therefore faster then other cruisers, but that was because their main armament were three stationary pneumatic tubes that launched a dynamite packed shell to a maximum distance of a mile. After the first was completed it was determined that instead it could serve as a night raider on enemy coastal positions. In this role it was successful and is considered the first "stealth" ship in the Navy of Burgundie.

Two more were ordered but where not completed before the end of the Red Interregnum. The advent of the Dreadnought rendered the dynamite cruisers obsolete a few years later. They did see service in the War of Faskano Strait but were refitted as torpedo cruisers soon thereafter.
