Office of the Treasury (Faneria): Difference between revisions

The Office of the Treasury is one of the six major Offices of the [[Faneria|Fhainnin]] bureaucracy, and serves the function of money management, fiscal policy, and auditing for the government of Faneria. It was founded in 1907 as one of the earliest bodies of the [[Faneria|Fhainnin Popular Republic]]. Its creation, at the time, was simply as a tax collection agency to allow the setup of a proper government in liberated territories under the Republican government during the [[Fhainnin Civil War]], after which it took over the responsibilities of minting currency and legal documents, as well as providing some internal banking services for the government and public employees.
