During the Corummese subjection of Stenza in the 17th century, the island obstenibly fell under Corummese control, but it was not central to the colonization efforts of the South Seas Development Company. It was used as a stop over point by Gabo de Pogiano, during his exploration of the Pelaxian discovery of the sea route to Alshar, also known as The Southern Route, wherein it was charted for the first time on an Occidental map, in 1613.

The island fell once again into international obscurity until Burgoignesc ships of the Bourgondii Royal Trading Company fighting a Corummese fleet during the Alshari Quasi War, in 1701, where chased all around the northern coast of Stenza. They took refuge on the island after the Corummese fleet gave up the chase. This complex was called Le Sud Moll, the south dock, by the enterprising crew.
