In its early years, during the early colonial period and up to the landmark 1890 Royal granting of semi-sovereignty and partial independence, Arcer culture largely followed Occidental trends for classical music and orchestras, with the pattern largely remaining under the influence of Ardmori high society and the upper echelons of Ardmori societal classes that had emigrated to Acerion. However with the late 19th-century settlement of the Arcer Heartland, folk music and country music began to evolve into its own distinct genre.
