Lyrics | Leon de Saue, 1829 |
Adopted | 16 October 1833 |
Yonderre our land, known in Burgoignesc as Yonderre notre terre and in Gothic as Yonderre unser Land, is the national anthem of the Most Serene Grand Duchy Yonderre. The Burgoignesc lyrics were written by poet and composer Lean de Saue in 1829 during the Yonderian Golden Age as a "letter of love to the fatherland", de Saue later composing the tune to the anthem around the time of its adoption in 1833. The lyrics were translated into Gothic by Horst Kaufmann in 1831. The lyrics are heavily influenced by the contemporary exploration of Yonderian national romaticism and the rapidly materializing common Yonderian culture across previous boundaries of Bergendii and Gothic societies.
