Lance FC was officially founded on May 9, 2009, by a coalition of former professional footballers of chiefly Yonderian origin, notably Thibault Valais and Simon Nebelheimer who remain chairman and manager respectively. Initially centred around a cadre of professional footballers recruited chiefly from Ligue 3 clubs, a combination of experienced veteran players and home-grown talents coming to the fore led Lance FC on an impressive rise through the ranks of the Yonderian association football world, reaching Ligue 2 in 2016 in a record-breaking display of league ascension. Ground was broken for Lance FC's new stadium, Lanceuer Arena (now Bordelleaux Palmgate Arena), in 2016. Lance FC remained in Ligue 2 throughout the seasons 2016-2017 through to 2018-2019 when they finished second, graduating to the Ligue Yonderre. The club has since remained in the Ligue Yonderre, finishing in the top 10 clubs every season since the 2027-28 season.
In 2024, Kiravian-Pribraltarian billionaire businessman Juan Kerr purchased a majority stake of Lance FC, acquiring 52% of the company for an undisclosed amount of Talers. At the time of the Kerr takeover, the club had debts of around ₮50 million owing in some part to transfer fees and player wages but chiefly to late payments on the Lanceuer Arena. Much of the debt was done away with when Lance FC signed a major sponsorship deal with Kiravian bank Bordelleaux Palmgate in 2028 of which Kerr is a board member.
