Audonization of Burgundie is a term referring to the lasting impacts first of the Burgoignesc colonial empire, from the late 16th to the mid 19th centuries, and later of Operation Kipling, in the late 20th century, on Burgundie. Understood in its conventional sense, Audonization includes a wide variety of effects of Burgundie's involvement in Audonia not only how external factors have affected Burgundie, such as trade, moving demographics, and new cultural artifacts, but also how Burgundie's involvement has changed Burgoignesc concepts and perceptions. This latter effect includes a broad array of areas especially within the political and military fields.

Jazm

Jazm's origins can be traced back to the early days of the Burgoignesc colonization, when Kandi, Etti, Makuwa, Zoulu people were transported, as chattel slaves through the Burgoignesc slave trade, and landed all over the world. Those who were sent to latifundias in Equatorial Ostiecia would beget generations of slaves who, after they were emancipated, began to enter into Ostiecian life. In music they combined Occidental harmony, central Audonian rhythmic rituals, spirituals, hymns, marches, vaudeville song, and dance music. This music was spread by the soldiers of the Burgoignesc Foreign Legion, who had adopted it as their unofficial genre due to it be played at the clubs they frequented, during the First Great War. Since the 1910s Jazm Age, it has been recognized as a major form of musical expression in traditional and popular music. Jazm is characterized by swing and blue notes, complex chords, call and response vocals, polyrhythms and improvisation.

Criticism

The Audonization of Burgundie has been criticized by many in the cultural institutions of Burgundie as a diluting force. It has become increasingly common that purists have called Yonderre the "last bastion of real Burgoignesc culture".
