Containerization is the process of storing and transporting cargo in standardized containers that allow for rapid embarkation and disembarkation of cargoes.
The standard container sizes are 5 meters and 10 meters.
Containerization was developed by Marcus Connery an employee of Lansing Lines a logistics company in Burgundie.
