Petalstone Electronics, Inc. (stylized as PΞTALSTONΞ Electronics) is a multinational electronics and information technology corporation headquartered in Caphiria. It is considered the flagship company of the Petalstone Group sodesteri, which has been majority-owned and managed by Juno, a private corporate entity owned by business tycoons Alexandus Venio II and Sando Porza since 2011.

Under its consumer products division, Petalstone Electronics has engineered an extensive portfolio of electronics and digital media devices, including the Vega series of smartphones, Alto desktop computers, Lumina laptops, and Solara tablets. The Vega smartphone line, in particular, is a prominent part of the company's portfolio, renowned globally for its innovative design and superior performance and has driven the company to financial success. History

As part of its "Vision MMXX" corporate restructuring process in 2014, various divisions across Petalstone Group such as digital imaging, existing display, IT solutions, wireless, networking, semiconductor, and more were merged into Petalstone Electronics.

As a result, the company was organized into four primary business divisions - Petalstone Consumer Products (PCP), Petalstone Electronic Components (PEC), Petalstone Telecommunication Networks (PTN), and Petalstone Automation (PA). The Consumer Products division is at the forefront of Petalstone Electronics. It is responsible for the research and development (R&D), planning, designing, manufacturing and marketing for electronics products, as well as for managing manufacturing operations both in Caphiria and overseas, through its own factories as well as third party contract manufacturers. PCP is best known for producing various consumer electronics and appliances, including the highly successful Vega smartphone series and the Aegis computing products. This division also extends to digital televisions, printers, video game consoles, and a variety of home appliances.

The Electronic Components division focuses on the production of vital electronic components that power a wide range of devices. It includes the manufacture of semiconductor devices such as semiconductor nodes, MOSFET transistors, integrated circuit chips, and semiconductor memory. The division also produces key components such as lithium-ion batteries, image sensors, camera modules, and displays for various clients, underpinning the global electronics industry.

The Networks division is responsible for the provision of a variety of telecommunication services. These include consumer cable television, internet, telephone, and wireless services. Furthermore, it offers broadband, fixed-line telephone, home security, network security, and business services.

The Automation division is tasked with developing and manufacturing smart home products. These include smart speakers, smart displays, streaming devices, thermostats, smoke detectors, routers, and security systems like smart doorbells, cameras, and smart locks. The Automation Division aims to integrate smart technology seamlessly into daily life, thus driving the future of the smart home market.

Each division is led by an Chief Executive who reports to the Principal Executive of the entire company. As with all Petalstone companies, since 2011 Petalstone Electronics uses a two-person executive management system with a primary and vice executive sharing responsibilities.

Smartphones

Vega (stylized as VΞGA) is the name of Petalstone's series of smartphones that use the company's proprietary Velar operating system. The first Vega smartphone was released in 2005 and sold more than one million units within the first 45 days on sale in Caphiria. Since then, Petalstone typically releases new models on a biennial basis and major VelarOS updates annually. Vega devices have a user interface built around a multi-touch screen, which at the time of its introduction was described as "revolutionary" and a "game-changer" for the mobile phone industry. The device has been credited with popularizing the smartphone and slate form factor, and with creating a large market for smartphone apps, or "app economy". The global success of Petalstone's Vega smartphones has generated large profits for the company and is credited with helping to make Petalstone one of the world's most valuable companies. As of 2030, the Vega smartphones had approximately 22% market share, yet represents more than 50% of global smartphone revenues.

The Vega series features four models: the baseline model is called the Vega Prime (Vega Primus), with a variant called the Vega Magnus (or Vega XL) which offers a larger screen size and battery capacity. The flagship model is the Vega Maximus (or Vega Pro) and features the most advanced technology and highest specifications. The Vega Essential (or Vega Lite) is the "affordable flagship" model aimed at ensuring accessibility and affordability for a wider range of customers.

The most recently released series is the 27th generation, which includes: the Vega Lite 12, Vega Prime 14, and Vega XL 11 and Vega Pro 11 models.

Computers

Petalstone's Aegis line of personal computing products includes desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. Alto (stylized as ΛLTO) is the brand name for Petalstone's line of desktop computers, which was first introduced to the market in the mid-2000s. The Alto line-up includes the Alto Pro, a customizable high-performance workstation desktop, the Alto Studio, an all-in-one desktop solution, and the Alto Mini, an entry-level desktop designed for cost-effectiveness and convenience. Lumina (stylized as LUMIПA) represents Petalstone's range of laptops. Televisions

At the top of the lineup is the SKYLINE series (marketed in Caphiria as Celestia and stylized as CΞLΞSTIΛ), Petalstone's flagship series of televisions. The SKYLINE series features premium technology such as OLED and QLED panels, ultra-HD resolution, and advanced smart TV capabilities. These are the most luxurious models and cater to a high-end market that demands exceptional picture quality and design.

Under the Skyline series is the STΛRLIGHT series, which focuses on delivering superb picture quality with 4K resolution and HDR capabilities. While slightly more affordable than the Skyline models, these TVs still provide excellent performance and smart features.

The Cløudline series is targeted towards consumers looking for solid performance at a more reasonable price. Grove (stylized as GRΘVE) is Petalstone's home automation and security brand, which includes cameras, thermostats, locks, and more under its under two brands: Grove Connected and Grove Security.

Grove Connected products provide comprehensive, smart control over home appliances and functionalities. The range includes smart thermostats that intelligently manage heating and cooling, adaptive lighting systems that change according to time or user preference, and smart plugs for remote control and scheduling of standard appliances. Through the accompanying Grove app or Petalstone's Vesper assistant, users can control and monitor these devices remotely, optimizing home operations for convenience and energy efficiency.

Grove Security also produces an industrial line of GroveCams that features a 4K Ultra HD resolution capture and live feed with a specially-designed 140-degree FOV wide-angle lens, is IP68 certified as waterproof and dustproof, and operates in temperatures from -35 to 75°C, virtually weatherproof. The exterior of the industrial GroveCams are made from an obsidian black glass composite that's resistant to scratches and damage. It includes advanced motion detection, using AI-powered technology to distinguish between different kinds of movement, reducing false alarms and enhancing security. Select industrial clients are able to access VISION, an invite-only innovative and advanced object recognition software. All of Grove's products are designed to integrate seamlessly with other Petalstone products, enabling users to create a fully interconnected smart home environment. Grove Command is the the centralized hub of all Grove smart home devices, allowing users to effortlessly manage, monitor, and control their entire network of Grove products. Its interface is engineered to be intuitively user-friendly, boasting an impressive response time and easy-to-navigate controls.

Grove Command is not just an interface, but a fully equipped smart device in its own right. It features a 10-inch high-resolution touchscreen for direct interaction and can be controlled remotely using the Vesper voice assistant or through the Grove Command app on a Vega smartphone, Solara tablet, or Lumina laptop. The hub itself is designed with Petalstone's signature minimalist aesthetic and built with premium materials to match the quality of other devices in the ecosystem. In terms of functionality, Grove Command can execute a multitude of tasks. It can display live feeds from GroveCams, lock and unlock GroveLocks, control Aura and Echo speaker volume and playback, adjust GroveThermo settings, and even locate objects tagged with GroveTag technology. Grove Command supports multi-user functionality, with personalized profiles and preferences for each household member. It also uses machine learning to understand user behavior patterns over time, optimizing and customizing the automation of connected devices to better suit each user's lifestyle.
