Tævuon
Tævuon is an incorporated territory of the Kiravian Federacy occupying the smaller companion island of Æonara, from which it is separated by the Tævuon Strait. It is very near to the Cape.
The tropical island hosted the KF Military Academy from 1934 to 1987. Military installations of some importance remain on Tævuon. One such installation is the Apanikeran Military Reservation, which is the Kiravian Armed Forces' inter-service main training centre for jungle warfare.
The culture of Tævuon is often described as "authentically Æonaran", as it absorbed far fewer Mainland and Overseas Kiravians after the Civil War than did the other Æonaran provinces. Its population are mostly old-stock, locally-rooted Kolakoskem, United Empire Loyalist descendants, Umcarans, and modern Capetian immigrants. There are a few block settlements in the rural interior populated by specific ethnic communities, such as Miraïmar of the Meriamirem.
