The Third Fratricide was a civil war of Derian people, lasting from the conclusion of the Second Fratricide until 1954. The war was responsible for what became known as the "final settlement of Dericania" following the Treaty of Corcra. It established the modern Deric States, was the most recent major armed conflict fought in Levantia, and is considered by many historians as being the final conclusion to the long-running issues behin The Two Derics and the struggle for a Derian nation. Some historians consider the conflict part of the Second Great War, but a consensus of scholars view it as a related but concurrent conflict, as it did not involve any of the major great powers until 1953.
