Owing to its founding ideals of religious pluralism and tolerance and welcoming policy towards refugees, immigrants, and new religious movements, Tiorentia is extremely diverse in terms of religious background. Confessional identity plays the role in Tiorentia that ethnosocial identity does in the rest of the Federacy, with religious affiliation serving as the primary marker of group identity and religious groups playing a major role in everyday social life.

The Bahá'í Faith has a large presence in the colony.

Tiorentia is also notable for hosting some of the largest extant communities of Mandæans and Manichæans. Both groups include immigrants from the religions' traditional homelands, Coscivian converts, and their descendents.

Cultural Tendencies

The Kiravian concept of universalistic monotheism is extremely pervasive in Tiorentian society, and this attitude toward religion is an important part of the state's cultural and civic identity.

Politics & Governance

Tiorentia is a constitutional republic with a single legislative body, the Stanora. The Tiorentian Stanora comprises X members elected every three years from multi-member districts coterminous with countyships and designated urban boroughs by single transferable vote.
