Cassilvia Mascarpina (born 19 April 1996[1]) is a Carto-Caphiric actress, model, and producer. She has starred in numerous blockbuster films and been in some of the most critically acclaimed television shows in Caphiria and has received several accolades, including winning four Opus Awards. Cassilvia first rose to prominence as a model while attending the University of Alexandria in the early 2020s. This eventually led her to her first acting role, appearing in the Caphirian soap opera Medicus Amoris (Doctor of Love) as the main love interest Rosara Ceravato.

She gained national attention starring in the drama television series Infiltrazione for six seasons, which gained her stardom. Cassilvia has since starred in several successful films, most notably in the Chiato franchise, Deviae Gatte, Serca Militanus, and the Rex Regum franchise. Her roles in the Chiato and Rex Regum franchises have earned her international recognition and established her among the best-paid actresses in Caphiria.

Outside of her career, Cassilvia is vocal about the politics of Caphiria and is an advocate for animal rights and environmental causes.

Early life

Cassilvia Mascarpina was born in the city of Rocchierio in the Turiana Province of Caphiria. Her father is Caphiric and her mother is Cartadanian so she spent much of her youth traveling between the two countries. As a child, she suffered from asthma and had to use a nebulizer for 45 minutes at a time. During that time, she watched movies, and "fell in love with cinema". Two of her early inspirations were Yonderian actress Edith le Fêvre and Caphiric actress Vana-Mara Madelloni.

Mascarpina moved to Alexandria, Cartadania to attend the University of Alexandria in 2022, where she was discovered and became a model for the Ocaso Agency. While under contract, she modeled for House of Elan, Germais Time, República Calafia, and Maison Germaine. After establishing herself as a model, she was encouraged to pursue a career in acting but delayed it until after she graduated from college.

Career

Still signed to the Ocaso Agency as a model, Mascarpina moved to Venceia to try to start a career as an actress in 2026. She performed in various independent films and low-budget commercials for about 16 months until she landed her first professional role on a popular Caphirian soap opera, Medicus Amoris (Doctor of Love). She played the character Rosara Ceravato, who was supposed to be a minor love interest for the protagonist, but audience reception was so overwhelmingly positive that the show producers eventually made her part of the main cast for two seasons.

Starting in 2028, Mascarpina began making guest appearances on television shows including Luce Timemus, Ferrum, Ferox Pueros, and Cupido. She also appeared in films including Salvaveris, Equitem Aspero, and Reina De Occidens.

In 2030, Mascarpina was cast in the lead role for the Moleculari Network television series Infiltrazione, playing "a charming and cunning Machiavellian con artist and master of disguise"; the series premiered in September 2030 to critical acclaim and would be renewed for a total of six seasons. Mascarpina would receive eight Opus Television Award nominations for her role on Infiltrazione and it would be her launching pad for success.

Mascarpina as Carmelia Cagnani in the show Infiltrazione Mascarpina's transition into film began with being cast as a biologist in the science fiction psychological horror film Deviae Gatte (2033), which received praise for its visuals, acting, direction, and thought-provoking story. She followed that up with her role in Serca Militanus (2034) in which she played a provocative drug addict turned spy tasked with seducing a gay insurrectionist.

In 2035, Mascarpina was cast in a summer blockbuster film, Chiato II, playing opposite the lead as Adriaki Maria, a skilled assassin and sniper with superhuman abilities belonging to a covert strike force. Chiato II was a commercial success, earning over $815 million at the box office. The following year, she reprised the role for the sequel Chiato III.

In 2037, it was announced that Mascarpina would star in her first solo film, an action-adventure film titled Rex Regum. The film was released in July 2037 and was met with universal acclaim, with critics citing her performance as "astonishing" and that "unlike any number of actresses her age, she's neither too maudlin nor too plucky".
