South Crona is a subregion of Crona. It is generally accepted that the political boundaries of the region are defined as bordering Varshan and Titechaxha to the north, the Polynesian Sea to the south, the Orixtal Sea to the west, and the Odoneru Ocean to the east. South Crona is usually defined as consisting of twelve countries; Alstin, Arcerion, Asteria, the Cape, Ceylonia, Istrenya, Kelekona, Malentina, New Archduchy, Paulastra, Porlos, and Tierrador. South Crona is the largest subregion of Crona by area and population, and is also the most developed region in the continent, with the subregion harboring some of the largest economies in the world. South Crona is mainly known as a hotspot for its various indigenous cultures, the largest of which being the Pan-Qabóri civilization, which is widespread throughout the southern peninsula of the region. South Crona is mainly focused on two peninsulas and a large archipelago in the southwest. The two peninsulas; the South Songun Peninsula and the North Songun Peninsula, make up the main area of South Crona, and they completely surround their namesake sea, the Songun Sea, and meet at the Songun Straits of the Cape. The Alstinian Islands are located to the immediate west of the South Songun Peninsula, and are fully controlled by the United Republic of Alstin.

Historically, South Crona had been dominated by three major peer powers; the Qabóri Woqalate in the South Songun Peninsula, and various North Songun civilizations to the northern extremes of the region. After the fall of these powers, colonial endeavors from Levantia, Sarpedon, and Kiravia had began to diversify the region culturally, and the indigenous hegemony over the region had ended. Despite this, aggressive actions taken by Zurgite Varshan had united the cultures against their sole common enemy, which culminated in the Orixtal Crusade. Following the Orixtal Crusade, the region had begun to industrialize at a faster rate than the rest of Crona, and quickly jumped to a favorable geopolitical position in the 19th and 20th centuries. Despite this, in areas that were not as developed as the rest of the region, war still raged on, especially in nations under the political and military hegemony of Arcerion. The Arcer Bush Wars were a statement of the country's colonial ambitions throughout the region, and had even expanded to the Southern Peninsula, with struggles for influence against Tierrador over Malentine Sea basin countries, such as Istrenya.

The northern extent of South Crona is not strictly delineated, but it is generally defined as those parts of the continent south of the historic sphere of influence of the North Songun civilization.
