Corumm, officially the Democratic Republic of Corumm has full diplomatic relations with 74 member states of the League of Nations. Corummese oficial policy as communicated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to pursue positive and beneficial relations with all states, with the goal of guaranteeing Corummese independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and creating a favorable international atmosphere in which to further its economic interests.

Maintaining the continent of Alshar free of extraneous colonization efforts and foreign domination is also a core policy of the Corummese government.

Metzetta and Corumm have had established diplomatic relations for hundreds of years going back to the Shang dynasty, but even some of the smaller states that preceded it had their own diplomatic contacts with the court at Hanzeong. Rusana is politically and economically dependent on Corumm to the extent that foreign observers deem it to be more of a Corummese appendage state instead of a truly independent country. Corummese diplomats are scornful of such notions, pointing out that economic integration between the two nations is beneficial to both sides. Remmitances from Rusani workers in Corumm are very important to the economic wellbeing of millions in Rusana.

Diplomatic relations have existed with the Apostolic Republic of Urcea since xxxx. On different sides during the Second Great War, the modern relation between Urcea and Corumm is still plagued by mutual suspicion and clashing national ideologies.
