Daxia, officially the Democratic Republic of Daxia has full diplomatic relations with 74 member states of the League of Nations. Daxian oficial policy as communicated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to pursue positive and beneficial relations with all states, with the goal of guaranteeing Daxian independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and creating a favorable international atmosphere in which to further its economic and geopostrategic interests.

Maintaining the continent of Audonia free of extraneous colonization efforts and foreign domination is also a core policy of the Daxian government.

Metzetta

Metzetta and Daxia have nurtured diplomatic relations for hundreds of years going back to the Shang dynasty, but even some of the smaller states that preceded a unified Daxia had their own diplomatic contacts with the court at Hanzeong. Interdynasty marriage alliances between the two states were common until the rise of the Qian dynasty in the mid 16th century. The imperial Qian clan was very insular and xenophobic, viewing the House of Anru as being beneath it; excepting cadet branches and lower ranked members there would be no marriages between the two dynasties until right before the Second Great War. In 1915 Princess Anru Keuto, seventh child of Emperor Ingun-Hu, was offered as a bride to the then heir apparent to the Qian dynasty, Prince Hongli. This joining would start an alliance with Metzetta that would last until 1946. Metzettan duplicity and groveling attitudes with Levantians were quickly forgotten after the war nonetheless with the restablishment of embassies and deeper contacts.

Rusana

Rusana and Daxia have a long history of contacts as far back as the period before the islamic conquest. Rusana is politically and economically dependent on Daxia to the extent that foreign observers deem it to be more of a Daxian appendage state instead of a truly independent country. Daxian diplomats are scornful of such notions, pointing out that economic integration between the two nations is beneficial to both sides. Remmitances from Rusani workers in Daxia are very important to the economic wellbeing of millions in Rusana.

Urcea

Diplomatic relations have existed with the Apostolic Republic of Urcea since xxxx. On different sides during the Second Great War, the modern relation between Urcea and Daxia is still plagued by mutual suspicion and clashing national ideologies. There have been instances of cooperation or even business-like quid pro quos, such as the fleeting alliance against Varshan. Urcea maintains an unhealthy but unstated desire to wrest the island of Cao from Daxian hands.

Kiravia

Relations with the Kiravian Federacy are marked by long periods of enmity and abrasive contacts, interrupted by brief truces and alliances of convenience. Expansionist policies dating to the Qian dynasty and its immediate predecessor brought Daxia into almost immediate conflict in the Ocean of Cathay and Polynesian Sea. From this era of imperial competition, several territorial disputes continue to sour relations, Daxia has maintained the territorial claims of the Qian dynasty to Sarolasta, Pribraltar, Ortego and Rovaion. A short lived alliance and League-induced cooperation was undertaken to defeat and cow Varshan but even that has begun to fray over a dispute over the delimitation of borders between Xisheng and the Mid-Atrassic States.
