Barbary Straits Colony was a colonial holding administered by the MUTC on the western coast of Audonia's Daria region from 1577 until 1836 at which point the Great Rebellion of Slavery Bay overwhelmed the colony forcing its end and the expulsion of the Occidentals living within it, with the exception of the island of Alcairet.

Economy

The Barbary Straits Colony's economy was primarily focusing on maritime commerce and the lucrative trade of exotic goods such as spices, textiles, and precious metals afforded to is as one of the three great customs houses before Silk Road fleets departed for Levantia and Sarpedon. With northern Battganuur and Alcairet as its geographical bases, the colony thrived on its strategic location, facilitating Silk Road trade. The Ularien Trading Company, known for its shrewd business practices, fostered a robust economy by establishing trade routes, fostering local industries, and amassing wealth through the control of key resources, further bolstered by the exploitation of the region's natural resources. This period was marked by a significant influence on the local culture, leading to the development of a diverse, cosmopolitan society.
